C.L.A.S.S. is made up of local citizens working together to insure that future LCPS schools sited in the Lovettsville area of Loudoun County are community-based and respect the county's Comprehensive Plan (PDF).
Who wants community-based schools and why?

- Students - to enjoy social opportunities, jobs, and shopping
- Educators - to encourage partners and sponsors (citizens and businesses) in the community
- Taxpayers - to obtain the best "bang for the buck" - creating local jobs and commercial tax revenue
- Communities - to increase sense of pride and accessibility (parks, libraries, and community centers, as well as schools)
- County Planners and Elected Officials - to maintain the smart growth principles set forth in Loudoun's Comprehensive Plan (PDF)
- Small Businesses - to bring customers and employees closer
- Emergency Responders - to shorten response times
- The Earth - to minimize air and water pollution
